Tweney Media is a leadership communications agency run by Dylan Tweney, an award-winning journalist, writer, and editor.
I have decades of experience writing, editing, and helping tech companies tell their stories, win visibility, and establish themselves as market leaders — first as a journalist and then as a comms leader, both in-house and as part of an agency.
My approach is based on this journalistic background and my passion for helping transformative technologies win the recognition they deserve.
My work delivers results:
- I helped an early-stage startup create a powerful, ongoing research and communications program on a shoestring budget that produced a dozen impactful quarterly reports, hundreds of blog posts, scores of press releases, and hundreds of items of news coverage, including high-profile mainstream media appearances.
✨ - I led the agency team that created a marquee research report for a tech client, distilling hundreds of PowerPoint slides and Excel charts into a crisp, well-designed, well-written 20-page research report that generated millions of dollars in sales pipeline.
✨ - I helped C-suite officers for two major tech companies craft leadership platforms and content that earned them bylines in Quartz, HBR, Fast Company, and the World Economic Forum’s blog, building their credibility and impact among their peers.
✨ - I rewrote the script for a tech company’s IPO investor pitch video, helping them deliver a more impactful message to potential investors (the stock closed up 35% on the first day — I can’t take credit for the pop, but the video certainly didn’t hurt).
✨ - I worked closely with the CEO and chief comms officer of a marketplace startup, helping them earn consistent coverage and placement of thought leadership articles in top-tier press. The CEO has gone on to lead significant initiatives at a major Silicon Valley tech brand.
That’s my story. Let me help you tell yours.
